Our Dream

To utilize Vietnam's endemic renewable materials to gradually replace and improve kitchen utensils with products made from bamboo, which offer practical functionality, are safe for health, and possess a refined, rustic beauty with a tangible sensory appeal.

Hi, nice to meet you

Our story begins with a dream to bring Vietnam’s treasures to the world, weaving a thousand years of culture into modern life. For centuries, bamboo has been a symbol of strength and resilience, yet it had not found its rightful place in today’s kitchens. At WodWah, we dedicated years of passion and learning to perfect the process of carbonized bamboo, a natural treatment that makes it safe for food, durable in every condition, and strong enough to be called “green steel.” More than just tools, our creations carry meaning: a cutting board becomes the foundation of family meals, a tray turns gatherings into rituals, and a gift delivers both function and the warmth of connection. Strong roots, sustainable future is our promise, honoring tradition while shaping a greener tomorrow.

Our Products

We create home and kitchen as well as garden products from Vietnam’s renewable bamboo, designed to blend practicality with soul. Using natural carbonization, every piece is safe, durable, and chemical free. More than everyday essentials, our creations embody rustic beauty with a tangible sensory appeal, offering a sustainable alternative that brings nature’s elegance into modern living.

Clean. Natural. Thoughtfully made

1. Harvest

Our bamboo is harvested at three to five years of age, during the dry season when the stems reach peak strength and stability. This careful timing ensures the highest quality material for crafting while allowing the groves to regenerate naturally. With each cycle, bamboo renews itself quickly, making every harvest both sustainable and respectful to nature.

2. Natural Treatment

Bamboo is treated through a hydrothermal process where high-pressure steam removes impurities and strengthens the fibers. It is then dried for 3–5 days until moisture reaches about 8%, followed by curing in low-oxygen conditions (<2% O₂) for 8–12 hours to prevent burning. Afterward, the bamboo is conditioned to 3–5% moisture and stabilized in storage for 10–15 days, resulting in durable, safe, and fully stabilized material ready for use.

3. Craft & Finish

Every product is shaped by the skilled hands of artisans who understand bamboo at its core. Through precise cutting, careful sanding, and fine polishing, they transform raw material into smooth, elegant pieces. The result is home and kitchenware that is both durable and practical, yet carries a refined beauty and tangible sensory appeal.

Inspiring Everyday Living

Our customers aren’t just buying kitchenware — they’re choosing a lifestyle that values simplicity, intention, and care. Whether it’s a gift for a loved one or a treat for yourself, every WodWah product carries a story — of craft, memory, and the lasting beauty of nature.
